Senior Survey Technologist

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Office Survey Technologist to join our client’s team.

Our esteemed client is a global leader in delivering industrial services, primarily catering to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power Generation, Process, Environment, and Construction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
 

• Work with the Project Manager and Surveyor to ensure survey methods are followed and project goals are met.
• Provide office support and create various survey drawings for legal, right of way, topographic, construction layout and engineering surveys.
• Conduct land title research.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with clients.
• Process and analyze field data, including performing survey calculations like traverse and network adjustments, GNSS data processing, etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of collected data and adherence to established survey procedures.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements
 

• Educational background in Survey/Geomatics (diploma, degree or equivalent work experience) and minimum 5 years of experience in legal surveys.
• Experience with relevant technologies such as StarNet and Civil 3D is essential.
• Familiarity with other relevant technologies (Leica Infinity and Microsurvey, TopoDOT) is an asset.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable with technical expertise and attention to detail.
• Effective in written and verbal communication.
• Team player with collaboration skills.
