Job Description
- Purpose of Position: The Site Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, particularly those involving solar energy or battery storage.
- Responsibilities:
- Support the electrical design, engineering, and construction of renewable energy projects.
- Provide technical support to project teams.
- Monitor contract performance against project milestones and budget.
- Perform technical contract reviews for construction and procurement contracts.
- Manage compliance reviews and responses to electrical RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Establish project budgets and conduct regular reviews.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Determine optimal layout for collection systems.
- Review layouts, high voltage systems, and SCADA systems.
- Assist with contract negotiations and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee electrical quality control during project execution.
- Collaborate with development departments.
