Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Track project progress, manage documentation, and prepare status and close-out reports.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and comply with regulatory approvals.
- Review and manage engineering and architectural designs, site plans, and construction documents.
- Develop and execute project contracts and participate in consultant and contractor selection.
- Maintain consistent communication with project teams.
- Organize workshops and gather input from technical and community advisory groups.
- Engage with the community to align projects with local values and policies.
- Build relationships with project partners and external agencies.
- Manage grant applications, agreements, and project-related reports.
- Preform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with expertise in shoreline adaptation projects.
- EIT certification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in engaging with communities and presenting project updates to stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, AScT, or CET are preferred.
- Experience in analyzing engineering drawings and overseeing contract management.
- Effective communication with the ability to simplify technical information for different audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and proficiency in English communication.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and regulatory frameworks.
