Sr. Manager QA/QC (Hyderabad)

ROLE Sr. Manager – QA/QC is responsible for handling QA/QC team in a region. He / She will be SPOC to represent us for all the quality assurance and quality control related with client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinates between PMO office QA initiatives/ activities and Project Sites QA/QC team.
• Implementation and verification of all QA standardization processes and documentation over the Project sites as directed by PMO Office.
• Attending all internal and external regional kick off meetings for new project awarded and complying to QA documentation requirement.
• Preparation of new project specific PQP - Project Quality Plan/QMP – Quality Management Plan and WMS – Work Method statements and enabling submission through Project Site QA/QC team.
• Reviewing and closure of customer comments on above Site-Specific QA documentation in coordination with Project Site QA/QC team, ensuring to submit final PQP and WMS which is approved by client.
• Performing periodic quality audits at all running regional sites. Also, preparation of Quality Observation Report (Finder-Fixer) for these visits and closely coordinate with Project Site QA/QC team for timely closure of these open observations.
• Weekly/Bi-weekly Review with all project site QA/QC team on open observations status and any other critical issues at site, which can be addressed or escalated.
• Any customer complaint on QA activities escalated from site, needs to close the same by visiting to site and discussion with client and Project Site QA/QC team.
• Training to Project Site QA/QC team on new QA initiatives, new processes to be implemented.
• Quality measurements/ ranking of project sites based on QA/QC implementations.
• Monthly QA dashboard preparation of respective region which gives information to management about QA implementation at individual sites.
• Evaluation and raking for Subcontractors based on Quality parameters at various sites.
• Preparation and agreement with supplier on FAT (Factory Acceptance Test Plan) plans for various equipment to be procured under project contracts. And initiating this FAT plans to be submitted and get approved from Client through Project Site QA/QC team.
• Planning and performing FAT inspections of manufactured equipment in coordination with Project Site QA/QC team.
• Responsible for issuing quality clearance for all manufactured equipment in coordination with Project Site QA/QC team.
• Evaluation of new manufacturing vendors based on quality systems to help in procurement process
QUALIFICATIONS
BE / B Tech in Electrical or Mechanical with 12 – 15 years of experience, with continued service of a minimum 2 years in at least one company.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook at Advanced level
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be advantage
• Excellent written and oral English
• Team handling experience / skills
• Co-ordination with client / vendors
• Good knowledge and understanding on Quality Assurance Plan, Quality checklist, Quality audits
• Able to conduct quality trainings
• Knowledge of basic Indian Standard Codes related to Construction Industry
