Survey Technologist

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a leading engineering consultancy client of ours as a Survey Technologist in Vancouver, BC. Job Duties:
• Complete surveys that vary in type including legal surveys, engineering, and construction
• Help in coordinating project objectives, allocating budgets, timeframes, and schedules
• Responsible for communicating with team members on project objectives, timeframes, and expectations
• Work and communicate with both clients and Project Managers to address project scope, reviews, etc.
• Put a high priority on safety and policy compliance

Key Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Geomatics with 2-5 years of Survey experience
• Familiar with survey and boundary calculation, as well as geodetic coordinate systems and map projections
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsurvey, and Trimble Business center is preferred
• Knowledge and adherence to safety policies and reporting
