Here is an exciting opportunity to join an industrial services company in Kitimat, BC as a Technical Trainer! As a Technical Trainer, your key role will be to design and deliver training programs for field staff and clients at the project site. Your expertise will ensure teams are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Job Duties:

• Design, implement, and assess technical training programs for insulation operations at the Training Centre and on-site.
• Conduct Verification of Competency (VOC) evaluations to ensure trainees meet industry standards and expectations.
• Provide practical application training to field staff, focusing on insulation techniques and best practices.
• Carry out assessments and provide coaching to team members on-site to ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols.
• Keep accurate training records and documentation for all personnel, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company requirements. 

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Trainer, with field work exposure
• Red Seal Journeyperson – Insulation qualification – highly preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in Insulation with a strong understanding of application techniques
• High level of accuracy in data entry
• Experience with Record Management Systems
