Upstream Facilities Engineering Specialist

The Upstream Facilities Engineering Specialist will be responsible for mechanical and process engineering related activities in addition to the coordination regularly with civil, electrical & instrumentation disciplines. Identify, develop, fund and track all required surface facilities, which include the pipeline network, a gas compression plant, a gas processing plant, a gas oil separation plan, and multi-phase pump and early production facilities.

Job Duties:

• Manage all planning and maintenance for infrastructure and oil and gas facilities
• Develop/implement engineered solutions for issues that may be limiting production, productivity and efficiency to optimize the surface oil, gas, and water production facility performance
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise with existing facilities
• Ensure surface facilities are installed on time by providing close coordination with all related organizations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and chemical engineering
• Master of Science or PhD is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in a petroleum engineering organization
• 5+ years of project related work
