"Our international client is looking for a VESSEL OPERTATIONS ENGINEER with PIPELAY S-LAY experiences, Post-trenching and Subsea experiences within Oil and Gas Industry to join the client’s project team based FANO, ITALY."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To prepare and run the offshore operations of the pipelaying vessel (S-lay).
- During the project preparation phase, the Project Operations Engineer will:
- Liaise with the Installation engineering and other technical dept. to formulate objectives and requirements.
- Define and follow the procurement of the I/As and relevant contract of services for his / her work scope(s).
- Prepare the offshore marine spread associated to the vessel.
- Interface with Fabrication team regarding the preparation of the various SIT and Loadouts.
- Organize the mobilization/demobilization of the pipelay vessel and it's associated marine spread.
- During the offshore installation phase, the Project Operations Engineer will:
- Coordinate the offshore activities on-board the vessel as project representative.
- Organize the logistics of the materials with the onshore logistics team.
- Prepare the project close-out and REX.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Degree /Diploma qualification / equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
- Minimum 5 years in operations with Pipelaying vessels - S-Lay (ECPI, T&I Project)
- SAP (advanced beginner / competent) - SAP requisitioner profile
- AUTOCAD
- Pack office (Word, Excel, PPT, Project).
- Languages: English
