Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategic business plans for the region, working closely with the executive team.
- Advocate for organizational standardization efforts, promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide direction in bid proposals and project cost estimation.
- Recognize market challenges and emerging opportunities, and devise strategies to boost visibility and impact.
- Lead the strategic planning and annual budgeting processes for the regional team.
- Track and manage team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget objectives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to support the development and growth of operations.
- Manage regional profit and loss, ensuring financial responsibility.
- Guide a team of professionals to meet and surpass revenue goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation.
- 10+ years of senior management experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- 7+ years of people management experience, including leading and managing teams.
- Experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Background in the regional market is an asset.
- Willingness to travel within North America.
- Proven leadership in bid proposals and construction project estimation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Effective communication and strategic thinking abilities.
