"Are you a Saudi ARAMCO CBT approved WELDING QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR? TRS has an opportunity for you to join our Client's various Offshore projects based WORLDWIDE.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Execute the field welding inspection, surveillance and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records.
- Ensure that all welding operations are executed in accordance with all relevant Codes and Standards and Subsidiaries procedures Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
- Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations.
- Be aware of welding procedures and qualifications.
- Check welders qualifications.
- Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagrams.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
MANDATORY:
- Saudi ARAMCO CBT approval in Welding
- American Welding Society CWI, or CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector or International Welding Inspector IWI C
- NDT Certification ASNT Level II (VT, PT, MT & UT)
- Knowledge of codes such as ANSI B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1
- Minimum 5 years of experience, in which minimum 3 years in Oil & Gas Industry
- Ability to review or ensure NDT programs and results
- Good spoken and written English B1.
