Job Title: Workshop Administrator and Logistics Coordinator
Location: Vadodara
Qualifications: B.Com with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and multitasking Workshop Administrator and Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team. Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of capital equipment in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and administration, with experience in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment. This role focuses on finance but also includes administrative responsibilities for plant activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking of Inward and Outward: Monitor and manage the movement of goods and materials in and out of the workshop.
- Maintaining Cost Records: Keep accurate records of all costs associated with workshop operations.
- GST and TDS Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations for local expenses.
- E-Invoicing: Manage electronic invoicing processes.
- Fund Position and Payment Management: Oversee fund positions and manage payments efficiently.
- Internal Control Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal control policies.
- Statutory Compliance Reporting: Report on factory statutory compliance as per the Factories Act.
- Administrative Activities: Manage site administration, including vehicle management, stationeries, and shop pantries.
- Interaction with HO: Coordinate with Head Office on accounts, HR compliances, internal compliances, and dispatches.
- Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) is essential.
- Record/Document Management: Update, store, and retrieve records and documents as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B Com).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
- Proficiency in e-invoicing and financial management.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
