Mon - Fri ( 8am-4pm)
$24/hr
We are looking for a motivated, talented Payroll Specialist wanting to work at our manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, SC, a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the world’s largest polyester producers. This is an additional position for our HR team.
The successful candidate is a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for working closely with other HR team members to support payroll, operations, projects, and business initiatives.
Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
• ADP Experience Required
• SAP Experience Preferred
• A complete understanding of full cycle payroll process.
• Ability to use ADP software system with proficiency.
• Liaison between Human Resources and Accounting.
• Assist any employee with payroll-related issues.
• Responsible for timekeeping and attendance system prior to payroll submittal.
• Tracking and completing all job verification forms, garnishments and levies.
• Responsible for quarterly and annual tax forms.
• Ensure wages and taxes comply with regulations per state and federal laws.
• Tracking and entering incremental pay increases (pay progression).
• Assisting with annual audits.
• Responsible for any payroll or HR record retention.
• Year end activities such as W2’s and year end reporting.
• Manage SuccessFactors module.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and needed.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, presentation and strong facilitation, and people skills.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of employees with ability to exercise good sound judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work both independently.
• Ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
• Responsible for sharing and promoting a world class image to customers, subsidiaries, and colleagues.
• Must be flexible in responding to changing and diverse business needs
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in short timeframes.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, woven with high integrity and trust.
• Education & Experience Required:
• High school diploma and or a two year degree.
• Working knowledge of HRIS and Payroll systems
• 2+ years of experience in HR or related field
• Demonstrated skills as Excel power user.
