Position Title: Associate- Regulatory & Receivable

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Bangalore

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience with knowledge of renewable energy technologies (e.g., wind, solar, storage, power exchange) and the associated regulatory landscape. Experience working with governmental agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders is preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory information.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Updates:

    • Monitor and track proposed amendments by State Commissions in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Karnataka, as well as any regulations introduced by CERC for both State and Central projects.

    • Summarize relevant regulations, highlight key changes, and analyze the potential impact on ongoing and upcoming projects.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and prepare a draft representation for submission before regulatory forums to advocate for project interests.

  • Wind and Solar Association Coordination:

    • Attend and actively participate in online meetings discussing key industry topics across various states and document detailed minutes for both Wind and Solar Associations.

    • Distribute the meeting summaries and key information to relevant teams, ensuring they are aware of important developments and necessary follow-up actions.

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input for monthly agendas, addressing any ongoing issues for external circulation.

    • Participate in regular meetings with CTU, CEA, and industry associations, and document minutes to ensure timely updates on industry developments.

  • Receivables / LPS / CUF / GBI:

    • Prepare LPS (Late Payment Surcharge) letters, ensuring proper sign-off and seal for submission to DISCOMs.

    • Liaise with site teams to ensure submission of claims and obtain necessary acknowledgments.

    • Maintain accurate records and systematically organize claim documents for easy retrieval.

    • Coordinate with DISCOM and IREDA for the reconciliation of LPS, CUF (Capacity Utilization Factor), and GBI (Generation-Based Incentive) amounts, working toward finalizing outstanding payments.

    • Follow up on payments as per LPS rules and ensure compliance with timelines.

    • Collect and compile all required documentation from internal stakeholders to facilitate the closing of projects with IREDA post-incentive scheme completion.

  • Change in Law / VGF (Viability Gap Funding):

    • Provide support in preparing and submitting claims related to changes in law to SECI and ensure consistent follow-up on all communications.

    • Assist in the documentation and submission of claims for VGF Tranche 3, whether directly with SECI or via petition, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  • Monthly / Quarterly Updates:

    • Regularly update CEA, SECI, CTU, SRLDC, and SRPC portals as per MNRE and SECI guidelines to keep all records and projects compliant.

    • Ensure ongoing project updates are reflected on these platforms in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Upcoming Projects:

    • Review and analyze key documents such as RFS (Request for Selection), PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), and other relevant contracts to prepare a compliance requirement checklist.

    • Facilitate coordination among internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely document submission in the correct formats, meeting all compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Support in Petition:

    • Responsible for coordinating with internal teams to manage and collect all necessary information for filing of the petition under PPA terms.

  • Document Controller:

    • Responsible for coordinating with internal teams to manage and organize all project-related
