Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus
Location: SE London (3 days a week)
We are currently searching on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-disciplined Construction Consultancy based in SE London for a Building Surveyor working predominantly across the Public Sector.
Their team have a broad range of exciting projects including education, residential, public and community buildings. They have strong links to Local Authorities, County Councils and Housing Associations and have a robust reputation in successfully delivering projects in these areas. They are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the Building Surveying Team at their Head Office during this exciting time in working with new clients on interesting projects.
Have good working knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, preparation of tender documentation and contracts and be able to undertake the Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties for a variety of projects in different sectors.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis and preparation of formal reports; submission of building regulations and planning applications. Experience of aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, auto CAD proficient and CDM regulations would be an advantage. They will also ideally have RICS or MRICS qualifications, a full clean driving licence and be capable of working on their own initiative.
