“Our International Client is looking for a Dutch speaking Buyer that will act as the focal point with Vendors on assigned Turnkey Project(s) or Fleet vessel(s) to be based in ROTTERDAM REGION, THE NETHERLANDS.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible to implement Global Supply Chain sourcing strategy.
• Responsible to efficiently and adequately setting up the Request For Quotation for the Purchase under consideration.
• In line with project or vessel specific requirements, market conditions, you are responsible to negotiate and purchase equipment/services with the aim to obtain best commercial and contractual conditions to create value and position the Company competitively (cost, schedule, quality and technical requirements).
• Once Purchase Order is placed, the Buyer is responsible to provide commercial support until Purchase.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma / Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain.
• Minimum Five (5) years of experience in a Buyer’s role within Oil and Gas Industry.
• Have good communication skills and a commercial attitude.
• Familiar with the rules of the classification society and the design of codes.
• Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing is required and good knowledge of Dutch is a requirement.
