“TRS has an exciting career opportunity for a Dutch speaking Civil Draughtsman(Concrete/Steel) experience and a good command of the English language and willing to eventually grow into a position as a Snr. Design and/or (Lead) Engineer. This role will be based in Urmond/Stein, the Netherlands.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The CSA department at our client is mainly concerned with the design of the following specific parts:
o Foundations.
o Steel and concrete structures.
o Control and administration buildings and sub-stations.
o Architectural drawings (industrial buildings)

• A Civil draftsman converts the information provided into a digital 2-dimensional and/or 3-dimensional computer model. The model forms the basis for the physical design of the plant. A Civil draftsman is therefore able to draw the following things with, for example, AutoCAD and/or SP3D (Smartplant 3d) from input:
o Construction drawings.
o Construction details. A Civil draftsman is also able to work meticulously in order to keep the quality of his drawings at an optimal level.

COMPETENCES AND SKILLS:
• Minimum Tertiary qualification in relevant field of study.
• Good knowledge/command of the Dutch language is a must and English language is desired.
• Knowledge of the software required (on the project), AutoCAD and/or Smartplant 3D.
• MBO working and thinking level.
• Basic knowledge of standard computer applications such as MS Office.
