Job Summary:
Provides technical support throughout installation, commissioning, and start-up of mechanical, electrical, and environmental control systems at new and existing buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors, verifies, and reports on Electrical commissioning activities to the KET Commissioning Lead/Assistant Lead Electrical concerning compliance with the PMP & Contractor’s schedules.
- At the direction of the KET Commissioning Lead/Assistant Lead Electrical, responsible for identifying potential employer claims (back charges) and out of scope issues and as reported by Electrical Commissioning Engineers.
- Review Operational Test Procedures associated with the Commissioning of electrical systems.
- Understanding of electrical systems and performance testing requirements.
- Participate in the hand over acceptance of system/s sub-system/s with the Mechanical Completion and Operations group.
- Executing commissioning activities within budget and schedule.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Relevant degree such as Bachelor's and University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Education, Science, Technical, Engineering Technology, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Communication, Electronics.
- Minimum Five (5) years Commissioning engineering experience with Data Centre Projects, preferably people who were on the recent Vantage project.
- Ensuring a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed.
- Providing input to Hazops, SIL and other safety reviews as directed.
- Ensuring that requirements of Licensor's Secrecy Agreements are known and complied with.
- Participating in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers.
