Job Summary:
- Perform project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead consisting in design, checking, validation, testing and engineering of Control Systems and Telecommunication Systems. Interface and coordinate with the other Project Team Specialists and Designers. Coordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing or by outsourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
The Engineer executes the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.
Tasks include:
A - Development Technology know how and Commercial support
B - Feasibility
C - Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development.
D - Project Execution
E - Construction and start up
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Accredited Degree qualification.
- Minimum eight (8) years’ Offshore Control Systems Engineering with PCL & SCADA experience.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, trouble shoot, setup (preferably Siemens, B&R, Omron, Allen Bradley).
- Experience in build-up SCADA.
- Knowledge on Automation network and their layout and implementation under CPU control (Can, Ethercat, Ethernet, Profibus, Ethernet IP, Controlnet etc.).
- Knowledge of programming language (preferably C++).
- Knowledge in AC Drives, parametrization, setup.
- Knowledge in various fields, Sensors (Encoder, signal transmitters, inductive sensors, PT100) and their IO interface.
- Ability in reading electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of equipment FAT and FMEA.
- Fluent English language.
