Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced E&IC Engineer to provide manpower support for several of our projects across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating documentation, PLC coding, FAT testing, on-site commissioning, HMI/SCADA screen design, and reviewing electrical documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and Australian standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate documentation for programming (PLC codes, HMI screenshots, alarms list, etc.) and testing (FAT/ITR) based on Functional Control Descriptions provided by the process team.
- Perform PLC coding where required, including alarms.
- Conduct FAT testing of process sequences with client representatives.
- Provide on-site support for commissioning; remote support can be provided where possible.
- Design and modify HMI/SCADA screens.
- Review electrical documentation to ensure adherence to project specifications and Australian standards.
Project Sites and Software:
- Onslow: Siemens TIA Portal (Engineer required in Perth for testing and Onslow site for commissioning)
- Paraburdoo: Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert (Engineer required on-site for coding rectification and commissioning support)
- M6 (Sydney): Rockwell Studio 5000 (Engineer required on-site for commissioning support)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support for testing, documentation generation, commissioning, and troubleshooting for existing projects.
- Attend technical meetings with client representatives as required.
- Potential engagement in newly awarded projects for programming works as engineering develops.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert, and Rockwell Studio 5000.
- Strong understanding of Australian standards for electrical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and technical meetings.
