Are you on the hunt for your next international offshore assignment? Our esteemed global client in the oil and gas sector has an exceptional opportunity waiting for you as an Offshore Electrical DP Vessel Lead for a Worldwide Offshore Project.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, Dynamic position system, Vessel Power Management, vessel automation system, thrusters and all auxiliaries.
  • Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures.
  • Define maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule.
  • Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity.
  • Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices
  • Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
  • Act as focal point for cyber security matters.
  • Ensure compliance with the cyber security model established by the Company and with the applicable standards, where applicable as per Organization Chart.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 5 years of offshore experience on Construction and Heavy lift vessel, with the position of lead (Chief Electrician or First Electrician).
  • Electrical Engineering skill.
  • Knowledge on Kongsberg system, k-chief and k-pos. Able to manage FMEA and DP trial.
  • Knowledge of Amos maintenance system.
  • Must have BOSIET / FOET and all Offshore Certificates (Compulsory).
