PROJECT: FPSO KAOMBO SOUTH
LOCATION: OFFSHORE ANGOLA
DURATION: CONTRACT (RENEWABLE)
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

"TRS is looking for FPSO ENGINE ROOM TECHNICIAN candidates, must have FPSO experience and must have solid knowledge of Engine Room systems: boilers, freshwater maker, etc. for our international Client's FPSO KAOMBO SOUTH Project team based OFFSHORE ANGOLA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for safe watch keeping, control and maintenance of engine room mechanical equipment and propulsion equipment.
- Maintain routine documentation as required by Company.
- Whenever required, act as MS (maintenance supervisor) or BOX (ballast control operator) as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28).
- Report to 2nd Engineer.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in related field of work.
- Minimum 5 years FPSO Experienced as 3rd Engineer or, minimum 10 years Super Tanker or Crude oil tanker experience.
- Must have valid STCW III/1 Unlimited COC with DCE.
- FPSO (with steam plant) experience is a must.
- International experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus.
- Must have BOSIET / OPITO approved.
