We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-family estimating and some project coordination experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of residential wood frame multi-family projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential wood frame multi-family projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Assist in the coordination of project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of project costs, changes, and communications.
- Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on estimating and project coordination.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating within the residential construction sector.
- Some experience in project coordination is preferred.
- Strong understanding of wood frame construction methods and materials.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
