Job Responsibilities:
- Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities and report unsafe practices incidents.
- Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation.
- Clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility.
- Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer experiences.
- Performs entry all field service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.
- Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and are of the appropriate quality for service activities.
- Test Reports, work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Trade Test or B tech and at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- Retrofit MV Switchgear, LV switchgear, Relays, CT’s and VT’s panel wiring and fault finding and testing CB and panels for faults.
- Be able to do switchgear failure investigations and wright reports, PC skills, using power tools.
- Clear understanding of all the Safety regulations in and around D substations.
- Driver’s license code 08 – Code 10 will be very beneficial.
- Wiremen’s license, AutoCAD or E Plan.
- Use Omicron and commissioning.
- HV-REG, knowledge of Reyroll and Unigear switchgear.
- Retrofit MV Switchgear in existing Brown Field substations.
- Install extensions MV Panels and new Panels in substations.
- Be able to read drawings and update(redline) using power tools.
- Will work on planned and unplanned shutdowns, willing to work at night and weekend if necessary.
- Ad-Hoc call out work.
- Work away from home occasionally.
- Be willing to travel both locally and internationally if required.
