TRS Craft Services is hiring for General Labors on the Northwest Side of Houston!


Job description
Compiles and inputs customer order and production data for seamless pipe & tube manufacturing plant into computerized systems to prepare orders for manufacturing and reports on volume of production consumption of raw material. quality control, and other aspects of production by performing the following duties:
• Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, process orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.
• Maintains data such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, and worker and department production rates.
• Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed.
• Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
• Compiles from customer orders and other specifications detailed process orders for use by production workers as guides in manufacture of product.
• Compiles material inventory records and prepares process orders for procurement of materials from plant stock.
• Sorts and distributes process orders and other materials to workers.
• Required to do CHANGEOVER for the Mill machines (change out the DIE cutter, so that it can cut a different diameter. “2in, 4in, 6in” etc.)

Qualifications
• Must be able to read a Micrometer
• Must be able to read a Dial Caliper
• Must be able to read a Tape Measure
• must be Mechanically Inclined

Environment
• not climate controlled
• will get dirty doing a change over for the mills that cut pipes
• walking and standing a lot

Schedule
• 6am – 2:30pm 1st shift
• 2:30pm – 11pm 2nd shift
• OT (sometimes required)

PAY: $15
