“A registered HAZOP Facilitator required for a short-term project with Ammonia (Fertilizer Plant) project experience based at MAYDON WHARF, DURBAN.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The main role of a HAZOP team facilitator is to guide the HAZOP team through the application of the HAZOP methodology, using predefined guide words, parameters, and nodes, to generate and document potential deviations, causes, consequences, safeguards, and recommendations.
• To Identify all deviations from the way a system is intended to function: their causes, and all the hazards and operability problems associated with these deviations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
• Accredited qualification or equivalent work experience in field of study.
• Must be registered Hazop Facilitator.
• Identification of process and equipment hazards and operability issues.
• Identification and correction of potential deviations from the design intent of the system.
• Capture of information required for the documentation of safety systems.
