For our client's renewable project on a refinery site in Sweden we are currently searching for an experienced HSE Supervisor. Foreseen duration of this project is until end of 2026.

Role Overview:

The HSE Supervisor oversees the successful execution of construction projects within the refinery sector. Working for the EPCM contractor, you’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure that the project adheres to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight:

    • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site, including both brownfield and greenfield areas.
    • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
    • Monitor progress, track milestones, and report on project status.
  2. Resource Management:

    • Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials.
    • Ensure that resources are available for each assignment and that work proceeds smoothly.
  3. Safety and Compliance:

    • Uphold safety standards and enforce safety protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices.
  4. Communication:

    • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  5. Problem-Solving:

    • Address job site emergencies promptly and effectively.
    • Resolve conflicts and challenges as they arise.
  6. Delegation:

    • Delegate tasks to the appropriate team members.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment.
  7. Technical Expertise:

    • Possess a strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
  8. Initiative and Adaptability:

    • Take proactive steps to optimize project performance.
    • Adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen circumstances.
  9. Attention to Detail:

    • Ensure accuracy in project documentation, schedules, and reports.
    • Monitor quality control measures.
  10. Professionalism:

    • Represent the EPCM contractor professionally in interactions with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant experience in construction project management.
  • Familiarity with refinery projects and associated processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
