Here is an exciting opportunity to join our construction services client in Kitimat, BC as a HSSE Lead! As a HSSE Lead, you will be responsible for implementing site specific company HSSE policies, as well as owner initiatives. Essential to this role is displaying a commitment to an incident-free vision, values and safety culture.
Job Duties:
- Ensure all training plans are in place, and support HSE Advisors develop their skills to the point of competency
- Lead corporate safety initiatives by positive example
- Demonstrate leadership by actively participating in all phases of the HSE plan
- Prepare contract-specific Hazard Assessment and safety execution plans in compliance with client requirements
- Comfortable working a 5x2 work schedule, working 8 hour days
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a similar construction/maintenance industry
- Experience as a CRSP for 3+ years, or NCSO for 5+ years
- Current Class 5 Driver's License
