For an external client we are seeking an experienced ICT Engineer.
Responsibilities: As a site-based lead engineer, you will:
- Demonstrate technical ability in all aspects of Telecom/ICT/Security Engineering & Design.
- Understand the design and specifications of Telecom/ICT/Security Solutions according to current regulations and design standards.
- Work directly with the project manager to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Develop and agree on design processes and deliverables.
- Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and produce information, including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.
- Assist in the continual improvement of QA/QC Systems and execute project reviews.
- Provide technical support to the estimating & commercial teams.
- Manage end-to-end procurement during the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach subordinates.
Requirements:
- RCDD/CNIDP or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
- Experience with Hyperscale Data Centres or Large-Scale Construction Projects.
- 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Preferred (but not mandatory) experience as a team leader.
- Excellent vendor management, attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
