FUNCTION: INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER (VALVES)
DISCPLINE: INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS
LOCATION: SCHIEDAM, THE NETHERLANDS
DURATION: CONTRACT
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

“Our International Client is looking for a Dutch speaking Instrumentation Engineer design and implementation of systems that measure, control, and monitor industrial processes. They work with a wide range of equipment including sensors, valves, pumps, motors, turbines, compressors, etc. This role will be based in SCHIEDAM, THE NETHERLANDS.”
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing plans for new facilities or updating existing ones to meet current regulatory standards.
• Inspecting facility conditions such as noise levels and lighting to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conducting research on new technologies that may improve the field of instrumentation engineering or applying existing technologies in new ways.
• Conducting tests on equipment performance to ensure it meets specifications set by the manufacturer.
• Designing, installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting control systems used in industrial settings such as oil refineries or chemical manufacturing plants.
• Designing new equipment using computer aided drafting (CAD) software or other engineering tools such as computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software or robotics programming language.
• Creating computer models to simulate the response of systems to various stimuli in order to predict how they will behave under different conditions.
• Designing and building control panels for industrial machinery such as oil rigs or chemical manufacturing plants.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering qualification.
• Minimum Five (5) years of experience and has a solid experience in Instrumentation engineering valves on EPC projects, experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Solutions-focused and result driven.
• Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing is required and good knowledge of Dutch is a requirement.
