"TRS has an exciting opportunity for an Operation Reliability Engineer to provide the required reliability support to keep all critical equipment’s operational and reliable for our leading International Client's BP Project team based in ANGOLA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for conducting investigations to improve equipment reliability and support work prioritization.
• Support the implementation of the Client’s Reliability Improvement Plan across the Client’s operated assets (works with facilities engineering, inspection, maintenance, site brownfield projects teams to ensure adequate focus is given to improving reliability within these activities).
• Enable reliability improvement through performance analysis and condition monitoring of equipment.
• Responsible to work with Strategic Reliability Engineer to improve/update Maintenance strategy resulted from 5 Whys, RCFA’s and Performance trends on operating equipment’s.
• Acts as main point of contact for all reliability matters for the assigned equipment class.
• Responsible for conducting investigation on repetitive failures from equipment’s in service.
• Responsible for Leading complex RCFAs.
• Support Facilities Engineering on daily and weekly plant surveillance/monitoring for assign equipment class or discipline.
• Perform Mean Time Between Failure for assign equipment class or discipline.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Electrical Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
• Minimum Ten (10) years or more of field experience in Oil & Gas or similar Industry.
• Good understanding and management of Microsoft Tools (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, Planner Hub, Power Bi, PPT,).
• Good Understanding and management of Data Analytic and CMMS software’s (SAP GUI, Palantir foundry, Operator Rounds).
• Good understand and management of Route Cause Failure Analysis techniques and Tools.
• Good understanding and management of MTBF and MTTR calculations and analysis.
