This position assists and supports others in a department, subdivision, function, or project. The position
relies primarily on established policies, procedures, and applicable work practices to make decisions as
they apply to the job duties and responsibilities.
Details
This position typically works on project activities and may perform as a project lead to plan and
coordinate Project Document & Data Management (PDDM) project responsibilities including support of
task force objectives and project milestones. This position will provide support for any role in PDDM in
an efficient manner while maintaining effective communication with Project Client, Engineering
Subcontractors, internal taskforce members, and field personnel. This position may supervise
intermediate level work processes and work with the process throughout with a team or independently.
This role will learn high level processes on a smaller to larger project to work within a team or
independently. This role requires knowledge of PDDM procedures and relevant company policies.
Strong Data Management System experience is required.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible to oversee designated PDDM workface(s)
- Provide insight and thoroughly follow the PDDM Quality and Execution Plans
- May edit project workflows, Job Bulletins, work processes, quality checklist templates, and other PDDM Job Book templates to be submitted for approval.
- Execute designated PDDM workfaces if working independently.
- Complete some projects start up and close out activities that will be required for execution.
- Responsible for delivering all execution reporting on predetermined processes.
- Manage Distribution Matrixes and advise of required changes.
- May supervise an execution team.
- Follow a staffing plan and request approval for staff mobilization.
- May be required to expedite external suppliers located in their local area.
- May be required to solicit permission to request document management system bulk loading templates.
- Adhere to and support Operational System Requirements (OSR) and any office Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
- Contribute to, promote, and ensure effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of knowledge management portals and communities.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
- Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed.
- Adhere to and support our Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job.
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Related Education, Experience & Skills
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
Preferred Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
- Two (2) year technical degree, diploma, or global equivalent preferred
- Requires six (6) years of project-related experience.
- Project related experience in the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) industry.
- Thorough, working knowledge of and experience with computers and specialized software programs such as electronic document management systems, relational databases, and internet-based project collaboration systems.
- Strong organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility
- Demonstrated problem resolution and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Leadership skills
