Client is looking for Process Engineer
Industry: Petrochemical
Requirements/Qualification:
- 8-10 yrs. with brownfield experience.
- Can perform PRD calculations and Support Energy/Sustainability related assignments.
- No specific commodity experience, as long as it is petrochemical.
- Experience in process design, contact process, technical services, FEED design activities.
- Reduce costs and improve financial & operational performance.
- Knowledge of chemical interactions, equipment design, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and present findings clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Optimization:
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
- Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
- Perform process simulations to troubleshoot and evaluate process designs.
- Data Analysis and Improvement:
- Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Identify areas for improvement in plant operations to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Project Management:
- Oversee project schedules and budgets.
- Ensure that process designs meet environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Monitor progress to verify that solutions function as intended.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with plant employees and other engineers to identify technology gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Document work and prepare diagrams, charts, and tables to share with other teams.
