JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience in managing tank / asset maintenance type projects.
- Build and lead a cross functional team of selected subject specialists, project members and external contractors to implement the projects to specification, on time, to quality and within budget, and to minimize the operational risk.
- Involved in the design and building of production facilities (plants) or parts thereof, equipment, automation control systems, other engineering systems in accordance with business requirements.
- Compile relevant engineering calculations, project proposals, detailed design and drawing, technical support.
- Making recommendations regarding improved mechanical systems, mechanical maintenance methodologies, or designs.
- Supporting / Enabling (E.g. Permitting Plan, HES Program, Quality Plan, etc.)
- Quality Assurance (E.g. Check & approval matrix, Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI), etc.)
- Technical (E.g. 3D Model, Heat & Mass Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID’s, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Project Management Certification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Mechanical / Processing engineering consulting background.
- Proven track record of successful Engineering project implementations of a relative medium to large scale CAPEX nature.
- Suitable training and experience in the understanding of regulations related to manufacturing, chemicals and safety.
- Understanding of the OSH Act, construction, electrical, pressurized equipment regulations.
- Guidance and monitoring of contractors
