Job Summary

The Project Engineer will play a critical role in the successful execution of natural gas facility projects from concept to completion. This position requires a strong technical background, coupled with exceptional project management skills, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and project management for natural gas facility projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Manage project scope, identify and mitigate risks, and implement change management processes.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within the natural gas industry.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, including experience in EPC projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of natural gas facility design, construction, and operations.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • Experience with specific natural gas facility types (e.g., compression, processing, pipelines)
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools (e.g., project management software, CAD)
