Our client is is a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company delivering high-quality projects in the Energy sector. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Proposals Manager to join their growing team.
About the Role:
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the development and submission of winning proposals for EPC projects. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality proposals that effectively showcase our capabilities and secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitation to Tenders (ITTs) relevant to our company's expertise.
- Participate in proposal kick-off meetings, understand project requirements, and develop comprehensive proposal plans.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, finance, etc.) to gather necessary information and contributions for the proposal.
- Manage and track the progress of proposal development according to established timelines.
- Assist with the development and editing of proposal content, ensuring adherence to RFP/ITT specifications and company guidelines.
- Conduct basic research on competitor offerings and market trends to support proposal development.
- Compile and organize all proposal documents, ensuring completeness and compliance with submission requirements.
- Participate in the final review and proofreading process before proposal submission.
- Maintain a comprehensive proposal library and knowledge base for future reference.
- Learn and utilize proposal management software tools to streamline the proposal development process.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with proposal management software a plus.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
