General Responsibilities
• Familiarization of Company’s and Project’s Standard and Preambles on Method of Measurements.
• Read, Interpret and understand issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and works scope of Subcontractor.
• Review Subcontractor’s measurement sheets (Quantity Take‐Off) and proposals as per IFC / As‐Built drawings in preparation for Reconciliation of Final Measurement and verify any BOQ Codes with respective Preamble clauses per contract agreement.
• Coordinating with Construction Work Package Owners, Contract Administrators, and Other Departments for further clarifications.
• Preparing Weekly & Monthly Reports as requested by Management.
• Responsible on checking the monthly progress application (draft invoices) submitted by Subcontractors including verifying their quantities, amount, unit rates and progress percentage in accordance with the contract BOQ.
• Communicating and aligning on any quantity discrepancies with the Subcontractors prior to the issue of Company’s draft application to the Owner Rep
• Participation in the Project Monthly Valuation week between Company and Owner Rep of the Company submitted draft applications for the Subcontractors; to include site walks between Company, Owner Rep and Subcontractor to align, explain and confirm quantities to be agreed
• Participation in the Monthly Valuation close out meetings between Company and Owner Rep
• Tracking the accomplishment of the subcontractor.
• Investigate and evaluate the submitted claims or change requests or proposals by contractor for EWN generation.
• Coordinate with project controls, construction, and contract management in the development and explanation of changes to the Owner and Owner’s Representatives for quantities, scope compliance, and durations.
• Involved on final reconciliation and close out.
• Receives, reviews, and assesses the proposed New Unit Rates of the Subcontractors.
• Responsible for assessment of Subcontractor submitted proposal backup and details for pre-submission and completed changes through the Project Change Order process.
• Conduct Site Walkthroughs for valuation purposes and certify quantities when needed.
Minimum Qualifications – Related Education, Experience & Skills
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and work-related experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Working Conditions
• Generally favorable indoor office workspace, and/or;
• Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels
