"TRS has a urgently requirement for an Offshore Rig Superintendent (OIM) with Jack Up to join our leading international client's Offshore PERRO NEGRO 12 project team based in BAHRAIN (SHIPYARD) / SAUDI ARABIA (OFFSHORE)."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Take command of the offshore drilling rig (Jack up, Temporary Utility Barge) according to International Conventions/Regulations, Flag State requirements and local regulations, implementing safety/environmental policy of the Company.
• Act as Safety leader of the offshore drilling rig and ensure compliance with international/local laws as well as Flag State, Class requirements, International Conventions and Company policies.
• Act as fully conversant with ISM Code (and/or SOLAS).
• Act as fully conversant with MARPOL.
• Act as the Ship Security Officer as defined in the ISPS Code. Apply all the Codes requirements.
• Apply MLC2006 requirements.
• Act as OIM as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28).
• Organize drilling, well completion, work over activities in accordance with Client programs, Client procedures, contractual requirements.
• Manage the operations of the offshore rig ensuring the well program is carried out in a safe, efficient and productive manner.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in technical field of Study.
• Minimum 16 years in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant experience, of which 3 years as Rig Superintendent onboard jack up.
• IWCF 4 (or similar) well control course – surface for Jack ups.
• Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) - IMO Resolution A. 1079(28) Section 6.2 - IMO Resolution A. 1079(28) Section 6.2
• Flag Certificate - IMO Resolution A. 1079(28) Section 6.2 Certificate of Competency - Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)
• Must have BOSIET/FOET and all Offshore Certificates (Compulsory)
