- Start end of September
- Initial 12 month contract
- Outside IR35
- Site based in Hull
- Develop and implement comprehensive rigging and lifting plans in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Oversee the selection and deployment of appropriate lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and safety teams to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Develop and implement safe work procedures and conduct regular safety inspections and training.
- Manage and supervise rigging and lifting crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Conduct pre-lift inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor and control lifting activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, including load charts, inspections, and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
