Here is an exciting opportunity to join our Industrial Supply distribution client in Edmonton, Alberta as a Sales Manager!
As a Sales Manager, you will be managing a team of talented individuals who are responsible for the inside sales distribution business, commercial projects, and outside sales functions. You will lead and aim to gather market data and develop strategies for revenue growth.
Key Job Duties:
- Manage staff to help them achieve their best results
- Set budgeted sales targets for staff in conjunction with management team
- Set price levels based on market conditions and customer volumes
- Coordinate with purchasing on inventory level, manufacturing and strategy
- Revitalize and reengage existing dormant accounts.
- Maintain up to date records of sales orders, purchase orders, and return orders accurately.
- Share knowledge and experiences with fellow team members to help foster a learning and continuous improvement culture.
Key Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree
- 5+ years of experience in similar position, industry related preferred but not required
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft office and strong data entry skills
