Fluor's Perth based Mining & Metals team are looking for a Structural Engineer for multiple major mining projects. This role will fulfil a key position within the structural team and be part of major multibillion dollar projects within the business. Structural Engineers of all levels are encouraged to apply.
The Role
- Responsible for providing the quality structural design in accordance with applicable standards, project technical requirements, project budget and schedule
- Providing structural engineering analysis and design of bulk material handling structures
- Prepare and deliver cost-effective structural engineering designs from conceptual design to detailed design, tender and construction.
- Liaise with clients and key stakeholders.
- Preparation of technical reports
The following experience/skills are required for the position:
- Demonstrated structural design experience in resource projects in both brownfield and greenfield environments.
- Proficient with Space Gass
- BHP projects experience
- Good technical capability and report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
