The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, managing corporate governance, and providing legal advice to the board of directors and senior management.
Job Title: Company SecretaryLocation: Noida, India
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and practices.
- Board Meetings: Organize and prepare agendas for board meetings, ensuring timely distribution of materials.
- Legal Compliance: Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.
- Documentation: Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
- Advisory: Provide legal advice and support to the board of directors and senior management.
- Reporting: Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
- Communication: Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
- Training: Conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters for staff.
Qualifications:
- Education: LLB degree from a recognized university, qualified CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of corporate law and governance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research and documentation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
