IT Technician

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Document hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications.
• Plan and execute assigned tasks efficiently.
• Address technical issues, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
• Serve as the primary contact for end-user support and maintenance.
• Manage and maintain various electronic devices, ensuring they meet departmental standards.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Minimum of two years of relevant education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively within time constraints.
• Personable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of networking technologies and hardware.
• Technical knowledge necessary for the role.
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with management, colleagues, and clients.
