TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Document hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications.
- Plan and execute assigned tasks efficiently.
- Address technical issues, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
- Serve as the primary contact for end-user support and maintenance.
- Manage and maintain various electronic devices, ensuring they meet departmental standards.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of relevant education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively within time constraints.
- Personable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies and hardware.
- Technical knowledge necessary for the role.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with management, colleagues, and clients.
