Job Description
Lead and support an underground crew in order to achieve targets while causing zero harm.
Undertake to directly supervise the activities of the underground crews.
Co-ordinate the activities of an underground crew in order to meet daily targets.
Liase with shift-bosses / mine captains on other crews.
Monitor, control and report on all activities within the scope of the underground crew.
Identify and mitigate risks to the progress of the activities undertaken by the underground crew.
Occasionally stand in for the Mine Captain
Occasionally operate equipment underground

Wish List Experience
10 years + in the mining industry

Experience in either the mining or tunnelling industry
Underground development experience
