Technical Product Specialist

SUMMARY: The top priorities for this position will be:
-Regular interaction with engineering, quality, production and customer service
-Handle RFQs, RFPs
-Costing and Pricing of product lines
-Manage product sampling on new programs
-Ensuring Bill of Material (BOM) costs are correct
-Ensure part numbering system is correctly implemented
-Monitor on-going cost reduction and implementation
-Provide technical assistance to customers & sales team
-Development of marketing materials including product literature, samples, sample cases and other marketing collateral
-Attend customer seminars & exhibitions
-Visit customers with sales team, as needed
-Support our Distribution and Sales people in the region
-Own the growth plan for the region
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a people person who is also customer centric.
Must Have: Desired experience/skills:
-Related degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) Cost analyst, inventory management, product specialist or
-Technical sales and marketing experience Interconnect industry experience
-Minimum 3 years related experience Forecast and funnel management
-Advanced PC skills. Maturity and judgment
-Good phone and presentation skills Technical aptitude, including ability to read mechanical drawings
-Strong Microsoft Excel skills Telecom, Networking, AI/ML, or Storage OEM/CM sales or
marketing experience
