Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Review and analysis of system and software specifications to derive test cases under consideration of normative requirements.
•Work with overseas colleagues to ensure tests are conducted according to internal procedures.
•Creation of test concepts, specifications, and documentation
•Commissioning, testing, and further development of electrical and electronic subsystems in the overall system.
•Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data.
•Analyzes test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
•Review test requests to identify, modify, and plan requirements, assembly and testing.
•Ability to effectively summarize and communicate test results to engineers and managers.
•Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems knowledge with solid instrumentation skills.
•Coordination and execution of ESD and EMC tests in our own laboratory and with external partners
•Control systems experience with PLC and HMI a plus
•Software testing experience of hardware driven embedded controllers a plus
•Oversee technicians performing engineering test or prototype assembly.
Qualifications:
•2 to 5 years’ experience in a testing environment
•Experienced in set-up and running of various data acquisition, evaluation and analysis systems.
•HBM eDAQ and Vector CANalyzer
•Test experience should include temperature, power consumption, fatigue, vibration, stress, sound levels, electrical and hydraulic system performance.
•Knowledge in vehicle electronics, bus systems, CAN protocols, and bus analysis tools
•Familiarity with UL and EMC.
•Familiar with the design and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and mobile equipment.
