Our client is looking for a process and detailed oriented Architect to join their team! This person will be responsible for meeting with clients, guiding them through a custom design process, and delivering a high-quality designed home that fits all of the client’s needs and budget.

Location: Kiawah Island, SC
Job is full-time with benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays).

Responsibilities:
• Design and production of conceptual plans/sketches and eventual development into a buildable set of construction documents.
• Direct interface with clients and leading through the entire design process.
• Ensuring development of ideas is consistent with client’s needs and budget.
• A full, in-depth understanding of construction, from foundations to framing.
• Engage directly with engineers and other designers.
• Experience with REVIT. AutoCAD. Photoshop. SketchUp. BIM360.
• Experience with construction/design in steep slope sites is a bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in architecture
• Registered Architect in South Carolina (or NCARB certificate also acceptable)
• 5+ years’ experience
• Strong familiarity and experience with relevant building products, construction detailing, codes, regulations, and quality standards.
