We currently seek a high caliber Quality Control Manager for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Clackamas County, OR.
Job Requirements
gathered data and project specifications to determine standards and to establish quality expectations of service and finished product;
• Provide technical expertise. Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives;
• Coordinate objectives with work procedures in cooperation with project managers to maximize service reliability and minimize costs related to “go back” work;
• Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures. Monitor and provide feedback on all documentation;
• Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts;
• Design, develop and implement quality control training programs;
• Quality orientation and high attention to detail;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Experience working with high performance teams;
• Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Manager shall be to develop, implement and manage quality control processes designed to ensure compliance with customer specified requirements. Manage and supervise a team of quality control field monitors. This position requires an intimate knowledge of all phases of electrical transmission, distribution, and substation construction techniques, methods, and installation codes and standards.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
• Prior quality control management experience, Journeyman Lineman or equivalent experience in industry;
• Minimum 5 years related experience required;
• Supervisory/management experience;
• Experience with developing/documenting procedures;
• Use of Quality Engineering methods in inspection;
• Computer proficiency.
