3D Digital Artist

Our client is producing an exciting opportunity to join their company as a 3D Digital Artist! They are industry leaders in control room manufacturing, based in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate would need to have a knack for the latest technologies of Virtual and Augmented Reality, 3D Modelling and Animation.

The candidate would need to be capable of developing high quality 3D arts (based on real-world objects or wireframes) that are realistic looking and that can be translated onto practical situations with impeccable lighting, texturing, modelling and mapping techniques. Any previous run-ins with developing Virtual Reality projects would be highly appreciated. This role would see the candidate interfacing with various parties of the project to produce the most exclusive user experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Unity 3D
• Degree / Diploma in relevant field
• Strong knowledge and prior experience in Unity 3D, 3DS Max and Adobe
• Experience in 3D Modelling, Mapping, Texturing as well as Animation
• Experience in preparing VR Projects for relevant reality hardware

It would benefit the candidate greatly if they would be able to present the panel with a demonstration of the previous work done in the aforementioned fields.
