"TRS is urgently looking for an Able Seaman, with tanker experience, preferably big tankers – VLCC or Suezmax or Aframax types and must have STWC Certificates to join our Client's FPSO Cidade de Vitoria Offshore Vessel Project team, based Offshore Brazil.”

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Steer the vessel, keep proper look out by sight and hearing, contribute to monitoring and controlling a safe watch, operate emergency equipment.
• For Drilling Division act on request on deck marine rigging activity.
• Report to Able Seafarer Deck.
• Carry out watch on keeping duties and marine activities in a safe manner

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3 years Tertiary qualification experience.
• Have tanker experience, preferably big tankers – VLCC or Suezmax or Aframax types
• FPSO experience.
• International work experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus.
• Experience with Total, SHELL, Saipem, SONANGOL, BP is a plus
• Work employment certificates
• STCW required certificates:
• Certificate of proficiency II/4
• Personal survival techniques A-VI/1-1
• Fire prevention and firefighting A-VI/1-2
• Elementary first aid A-VI/1-3
• Personal safety & social responsibilities A-VI/1-4
• Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boat (other than fast rescue boat) A-VI/2-1
• Fast rescue boat A-VI/2-2
• Advanced firefighting A-VI/3
• Medical first aid A-VI/4-1
• Medical care A-VI/4-2
• Oil Tanker Familiarization A-V/1
• Seafarers with designated security duties A-VI/6-2
• Basic offshore safety & emergency training / FOET + OLF supplement NA
