Location: Charleston, SC
Salary: $70k
Responsibilities:
- Review and process vendor invoices daily with accuracy, including importing, coding, routing, and posting materials and subcontractor invoices in a paperless environment.
- Create and process batches of invoices for payment, including issuing checks.
- Request, review, and process subcontractor waivers and their supplier waivers related to Notices of Furnishing.
- Follow up timely with approvers to gain necessary approvals and minimize unapproved/in-process payables.
- Establish, code, and process subcontracts and change orders.
- Understand expense accounts and job cost coding.
- Ensure compliance with accounts payable processes.
- Reconcile key subcontractor statements to the A/P detail each month and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide professional, timely, and accurate follow-up to subcontractors' invoicing queries.
- Record general ledger journal entries as needed.
- Assist with payroll, direct deposit, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Utilize software such as StarBuilder, Intellichief, Outlook, and Excel.

- Possesses excellent analytical, quantitative, and social skills.
- Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Discreet and able to maintain confidentiality of pertinent information.
- Understands full-cycle accounting.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Willing to be part of a team.
- Looking for long-term employment with the company.
- This position is exclusively in-office.
